Best of luck to you! One major tip: keep track of EVERYTHING you eat. Every bite, every morsel. Although it takes a little bit of time to do, it is worth it. It will help you see trends in what helps you lose vs. makes you gain, and also keeps you accountable for your progress. Many people here on Fatsecret would agree. There is more success when tracking, and little to no progress when tracking food stops. And don't forget to have fun on this journey! You are surrounded by wonderful people here.

Thank you for the support and information. I will do that and that way I can figure out what is making me gain weight. Also me keep on track with the atkins diet. I am looking forward doing this with my husband and to see him start losing the weight. I am trying to keep him think positive, he is a person that know that he needs to lose the weight as much as I do. He does not like to exercise and he loves to eat food.

I forgot to mention a great website that is FULL of wonderful low-carb Atkins-friendly recipes. Look up Linda's Low Carb Recipes online and you will be amazed at the variety of snack, meals and desserts that are in there. It also helps with deciding what to stock up on while at the grocery store. Okay, one last tip... you don't want to eat more than one Atkins snack bars per day (it will stall weight loss if you eat over 15g sugar alcohols per day). Wishing you and your husband great success!
