I met with my surgeon yesterday and we decided to bump my surgery out until after my business trip. My surgery is now rescheduled for May 1st. I had been following the restrictive diet really well, and I had been losing because of it. Now, I need to decide if I just keep doing the low carb low fat diet until my surgery. I did have thin-crust pizza yesterday after I found out... It was very tasty. My body reacted by being pretty sleepy afterwards... although that could have been because of my activity level that day. I also had a fatty, carby breakfast this morning so I am trying to eat better the rest of the day. Apparently, I do really well with boundries and guidelines, but once they aren't there it is harder to be disciplined.

The next challenge will be while I'm on my business trip, trying to stay with the low-carb, low fat diet. The last time I was on a trip, I ate whatever I felt like. I gained the five pounds back that I lost! But, at least now I know I need to be more diligent.
