Well I tried to join the squat challenge and I FAILED. I really don't like to fail at anything so it is bothering me a little. But I have been having a rough go of things right now. I have not failed my diet and exercise program that I have been working on for 2 months. This Tuesday I go for my 2 month weigh in/measurements at Golds Gym. I am very excited to see the numbers. I was at work today and our IT guy (who used to be a personal trainer years ago and is very buff) said "whoa! Sherri!!! Look at those delts!!!!!!" I also had to pull out my small uniform and it isn't even tight. So even though I believe I have lost only 4 pounds I know that I have gained muscle weight and lost inches. This is the first time I have concentrated on strength training to build lean muscle (to burn fat). Usually it is all about healthy eating and cardio for me. So happy that I am sticking to it.
