I actually tried to start making a change for the better a couple weeks ago but found that I needed some kind of support system and I found you on Pinterest.
I have decided I need to do this for ME! My oldest daughter is pregnant with my first grandchild and what better motivation is there than wanting to be around a long time to watch your grandchildren grow up☺?!
I have done the South Beach Diet and was very successful a few years back, but since then, I have lost my job, gone thru a divorce and had some health problems, and the weight has returned! Oh, and of course I added a few extra pounds☹. . .
My 11-year old daughter and I have had to move in with my parents (thank God for them) but it is hard to diet with the dinners my mom fixes, so I am on my own. I decided to just go with the Weight Watchers format simply because I can get the frozen meals and I have all the books from joining them on-line a while back. It's just easier. I found that the South Beach diet was VERY expensive and I was in the kitchen all the time fixing stuff. My sister swears by the Paleo diet, but I just can't do that one. Too many things simply don't taste good to me.
Unfortunately I am an emotinal eater and lately, the sweets have been my comfort food. So I have pinned (from Pinterest) a ton of lo-cal desserts and I will try a few of those here and there, including the points in my point total.
Wish me luck! Here's to making 2013 the year for ME! ♥♥♥
