I have been "big" since I can remember. I was always in the back row of class pictures, I was a size 11 when all my friends were a 5 or 7. Even while working a labor intensive job 8 years ago, I was still a size 12. I've never been slim, but I never considered myself ugly. Actually, at a size 12 I was told quite often how beautiful I am. That was 8 years ago, before I had my 3rd child and let myself get heavier than I'd ever been. I topped the scale at 264lbs. My size 18 jeans were beginning to get tight. I gave up. Until my husband and I planned a cruise for our family. I decided I needed to lose weight. I was disciplined enough to lose almost 25lbs. The cruise was amazing! I am proud of myself, but I'm not ready to quit losing the weight. Which is why I'm here.

In 4 months, I will be attending a family reunion with my husband's family. There will be people there that I haven't seen in over 2 years. People that think a size 10 is fat. (Oh, to be a size 10) Also, my best friend's wedding is next summer, so I have to look good for that. Of course it's not all about how I look. After losing my first 25lbs., I realize how much energy I've been missing out on. I want more! So, my goal is to lose another 45 pounds by the end of June. This is my beginning to finally losing the weight I've been carrying for the past 7 years.
