Somehow gained a couple of pounds in the 2nd week of marathon training, and it's starting to show. I've been so lax with my diet, so while my activity has gone through the roof, my body is not so happy about the junk I've been putting in it. Case in point, the stomach cramps I have from last night's dinner out. Yes, I ordered a healthy salad, but did I need the poutine? Non.
Back to the gym today, and I think I'll tack another 30 minutes of elliptical onto the 3 required miles today. And some leg/ab/shoulder work for good measure.
