Amarok's Journal, 05 May 2008

I've been in constant motion for the last week. I started my new job at the greenhouse. I'm working cash - which means I'm standing all day, but not necessarily doing heavy work. I have bought a new helmet and lights for for my bike so I can start riding safely to work. I've actually stopped counting points the last few days. I'm still trying to eat healthily, but I've been away from my computer and had all sorts of weird special meals that were difficult to count. I'm going to start a new spread sheet - Probably today or tomorrow. I've had quite a few no lunches, too much dinner days and I haven't been to the gym much - although I've done a fair bit of hiking, digging and gardening. I've been finding that I'm hungry after work, but I've been trying to keep my fruits and veggies up. I'm thinking of switching to the core plan for a bit - but I think it'll be too hard living at home. My mom buys a lot of stuff from M and M meat shops which are full of fat - but it means unless I cook all the suppers, I don't have much to eat. I'm up a bit, but considering that I ate out a number of times (including Chinese buffet at the Mandarin) and I've been to the gym twice - I can't complain. I still really need to get the water intake up. I'm at 1 L a day and I'm totally dehydrated.

I also need to watch it with Crackers - we have these good ones from work that I got free for buying stuff - and they are relatively healthy - but hard to keep from going over a reasonable portion size.

So.. back to work.
