AHH! one day away from the weigh in, and my CH-cravings have returned... The Chewy-Chocolate-Chicken-Cheese syndrome!
[ewe, but not all together, of course.]
I just get really bad cravings for anything thats chewy, like peanut butter, pasta, chicken, or granola bars; anything with cheese, anything with Chocolate, or just... chicken. Like boneless skinless chicken breasts. And except for the chicken breasts, which can be a good protein input, everything is pretty bad for me.
Yesterday, I walked three miles, and burned my usual 700 calories.
I had planned to eat dinner, and then go for a walk. But i had a lot happen last night that threw me off track. And there was a pan of chicken pasta just sitting there in the kitchen... so i ate some when i really shouldnt have.
However, i have to give myself some props for not over eating...
like Whollybologna said in her journal, she now knows when to stop eating.
I used to have absolutely no control whatsoever of what i put in my mouth or of how much.

Well, boyfriend has to work tomorrow, which means i'll get off the phone with him at around 8 o'clock. Maybe I can sneak in a late walk before bed to burn a few more calories before i weigh in tomorrow.

Good luck with that weigh in and DONT give up...your start weight and goal are about the same as mine so I know you can do it. I started in January. I know what you mean about the cravings, obviously, you read my journal. I wish there was no such thing, but I read somewhere that whenever you crave things, like PB, that are high in protein, its because your body is lacking whatever it is youre craving. Maybe thats why I crave PB so much?! As for the overeating...well, I semi-controlled that this weekend...but I know what you mean too on having self control. Once you begin to lose more weight, you'll find out that you are really full and your mind is telling you that you're hungry...will power, thats what it takes. I can look at the kitchen, or think about the kitchen, and get hungry...and I'm usually always full.

I think you're right! our body craves whatever we are lacking, so when i am craving protein, i try to eat the leanest form of it. Chicken is amazing like that! :]
