A Different Perspective
I'm going back to a time when I counted number of workouts, yoga sessions, walks as compared to number of calories. Counting number of meals that I felt good about (and after!) as compared to counting every cookie I eat. Counting number of inches that are coming off various parts of my anatomy as compared to number of pounds (although there is a correlation between the two.)
That method enabled me to lose 60 lbs (and from size 22 to size 12) over a year. I've lost about 20 lbs since April and that included doctors messing with my metabolism, FM, a kidney infection (last week! Big surprise!), the threat of liver disease (still being tested for PBC), and the ever-present allergies. Now I'm back to walking a mile in the evening.
Goals: 1. Yoga at least 4 times a week. 2. Evening walk every night. 3. Bike exercise, whether stationary or on the road, once a week. 4. Keep on with the transition to a whole food lifestyle.
Talk to you again in a week with the results.
