Cindy Eggleston's Journal, 07 April 2008

Today was a good day for me, all my "bad" cravings from last week due to "that time of the month" being due are gone. This morning was 2 eggs scrambled with shredded cheese, lunch was tuna on 3 melba toast, snack was a handful of peanuts and dinner was a small green salad with a warmed up left over chicken breast. And unlike last week I feel full and satisfied, a few days ago it seemed like no matter what I ate or how much I did not feel full and craved more. But getting on the scales yesterday and seeing that I have not gone down but up really got me back on track. My big hurdles coming up are a volunteer luncheon on Saturday, it's a a chinese buffet of all places. Next week a group of us are taking a friend to lunch for her birthday, that's at a barbecue place that specializes in steaks and ribs. I should be able to make some good choices there. Then towards the end of the month myself and two friends will be going over to the coast for a week to stay in a beach house we rented, a woman's get-a-way. So April is going to be a very challenging month for me.
