I am actually on my 19th day of the Atkins diet. I am still in the induction stage and have lost 11 pounds. My blood pressure med is slowing my weight loss down as it is a Diuretic. The book tells me I will love but more slowly than someone younger than me. I workout on the Nordic Trac every day for 40 minutes, walk my dog a mile every day and work around the house. I used to be able to loose weight eaisly but since I am older now it seems much more difficult.
