14% BF

Wow, technically, I have hit my weight goal, though I'm not really trying to lose anymore weight. My main focus is to drive down fat% and while being at 14% is good, I'm really striving for < 10%. For the immediate time being, I'm not actively cutting down to such a degree as before.

I'll continue to strive for at least 150g protein a day, drive down fat / carbs as reasonable. I'm actually not starving by any means. Cutting too much doesn't really make sense for me at the moment. Having energy throughout the day and staying injury free allows me to burn any extra calories I may be consuming + makes work outs much more effective. A couple months ago at 1200 - 1300 calories, my energy level was just too low -- no amount of caffeine or other stimulants can help when your body decides to shut down.

My current daily supplements are as follows:

2x multi-vitamin
2x calcium (total 1000mg day)
1000mg Vitamin C
1 90mg CoQ 10 (I may experiment with cutting this out -- costs $$$)
1 capsule fish oil
2x caffeine tablet (200mg each)


For the most part, a lot of these fat-loss aids are a waste of money. I've gone through all the bottles of Green Tea Extract, Hydroxy Cut, Relacore, etc. There was another one but I just cannot remember what it was called at the moment. In the end, you can achieve very similar effects from caffeine tablets -- I get it really cheap at Wal-Mart (80 tabs for $3.99, Equate brand).

I've also cut out the creatine and glutamine to see if I really benefit from them. I just have a little more creatine powder left and will use it up. Going to focus spending money on protein powder instead.

I take one in the morning when I wake up w/ my other supplements and one in the afternoon w/ 1 multi and 1 calcium when I tend to get tired. Pre-workout I may take one or opt for caffeine spray.

130.0 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
