I went to my first ren festival. I have wabted to go to one since forever really, but been to afraid to go. It was so much fun. I did a lot of walking, but not as much as hike. My kid hadto help eat the turkey leg. omg!!

Me too.. I was sort of disappointed because it was tough and dry, but it tasted good. I couldn't finish it, but luckily my daughter about 1/3 of it and I ate 1/3, so only threw the toughest 1/3. She had a chicken salad sandwich even!!

Never eat the leggs after the first day. Never eat anything with mayo after the first 3 hours of any given day. That will save you from the food poisoning baptism of the bushes or parking lot. Day one see the shows. Day 2 look at thethe characters and stay all day. The best part of its the parting ceremony at the end.

I love ren fairies and have gone to many. I'm off to one next week! Turkey legs are usually juicy good and a great source of protein.
