4 months since I started and about 44lbs lost. My macros hover around 20% protein, 30% fat, and 50% carbs. It's working for me and I'm good with that. I like being able to eat whatever I want as long as it's within my daily calories. I weigh daily and try to post it, mainly to let others see that weight goes up and down daily because of a multitude of factors (including strain-gauge scales!). While I'm doing this for health and I've seen some benefits already, the easiest measure of success is by seeing weight reduction... so it's hard not to focus on that. I hope all of you know that getting healthy is one of the most difficult things we can do. We have to overcome years of bad habits. So for any of you that have tried and failed, I applaud you for trying and encourage you to try again.
