Good Morning Everyone!!

Going to be another brutally hot day in Sunny California! So I am still trying to figure out this whole Low carb/Mediterranean eating plan. I do not really have cravings for candy, cake, and to my surprise, I have lost the craving for salty crunchy!! (chips) YAY!!

My progress is slower than what I have experienced through friends being on Keto of some type but... I have lost a ton of inches and gone down in clothes size! I am getting a bit discouraged but not because I'm hungry or feel deprived in any way just really due to impatience really. I love eating high but healthy fatty stuff! I do miss fruit however and I am tweaking some things in my eating plan to incorporate some treats with fruit.

My biggest struggle to be honest is coming up with meals to eat for dinner! I was terrified to eat boiled eggs for the first week or so because my father passed due to heart disease in his early 60's and I do not want to push that envelope, I have young tween and newly teen children that I need to be here for.

With all the conflicting information out there it is hard to know what to follow and what not to - I personally LOVE bulletproof coffee! then I go workout and then come back and have egg salad for breakfast scooped up on some chicharrones. I do not want to eat meat at every meal but if I do I usually have chicken or tuna, sometimes beef or pork, currently I seen this guy online who offered a free series on Ketosis eating and I am taking that and hope it works.

If any of you out there have or currently are eating low carb, high fat and know of resources I can utilize to plan meals I would greatly appreciate that!

Hope everyone has a great day

there are a ton of recipes online. just write keto recipes and you will see a ton. Since I am pretty active now that I have lost weight and I definitely eat more protein to keep up with what my body needs. salmon is another good addition. wonderful news on the resizing, losing fat does not always reflect on the scale as well as resizing in clothes. good job. I am also converting my regular recipes to keto. Like an example my stuffed peppers, instead of rice or bread crumbs I am using rice cauliflower. If you have favorite recipes you can either look to see how someone keto modified it and use that for idea's or use their recipe. I happen to love meat, but there are alternatives out there for your protein needs. just get a list of foods from the numerous sources out there to add to your meal planning.

Thank you baskington, I will definitely keep at it just takes some time and the great thing about any eating plan is being able to modify to fit your activity level, tastes, and convenience in your life! I am definitely resizing and looking forward to getting into more of the clothes I have just sitting there because I outgrew them LOL.
