Day 1: I am thankful my dog likes to play Staring Contest with me. It's one of those simple pleasures that makes me laugh.

I just got back from the dentist (having a crown put in) so I'm addled from the painkiller. Unfortunately, he said I could eat whatever I wanted. I will probably go with some leftover spaghetti in a moderate amount. I'm going to try recording my intake today. I've been so lax about that.

11:58pm - I made fried chicken. I had leftover spaghetti as an appetizer before dinner, and a milkshake for dessert. I have been going crazy with overeating from noon until bedtime. This is disastrous.
