I was getting stressed again thinking about family issues and tomorrow until I read some replies to my post. The stress melted away (although there’s a tiny bit of anxiety left) while I read.

I’m so thankful to have found this app and you lovely people! I was able to put away my snickers and instead reach for a stick of beef jerky for my bedtime snack. Kind of hoping one of the kids steals the snickers so I won’t keep grabbing it in weak moment of stress. Then again knowing it’s there if I need it has made my diet bearable lol. I can usually just tell myself I can’t indulge in front of the kids or ‘what would my diet buddy think of me if I ate this’. Tonight I didn’t want to give in and the best way I know to show my appreciation is by not having it and letting you all know that I could resist thanks to you and your words.
