I have been very tired and sleepy lately. I am having lack of energy, so it tends to make me even less motivated to move, it is hard when you are always so exhausted! In the beginning of the week especially I am trying to recover the weekend and the two night 10 hour shifts. It is good spiritually that I am getting out and trying to focus and getting something accomplished in my life. I am hoping I can also accomplish my weight goals. I am trying not to put any major time limits, but I have a few expectations that when I see the small results it will keep me going! Life is hard to get it all done, but we need not forget about ourselves. I realize I need some lean protein, and to try to get those vegetable in. I cannot live without ANY BREAD, but I can cut back on some! I need to feel I can have a small dessert worked in for if I don't do that I will not be able to stick it out, and I want to be able to KEEP GOING, as I tell all my friends to do the same! One bad day or two won't ruin it, we just need to get back up the next minute possible, and not wait till Monday, nor first of the month, nor January 1rst, that is not a healthy realistic approach. I am too old for anything less than realistic I have fallen way too many times already! Everyday of our lives we are on a diet, so think about it, we can't think extremes because we JUST won't get there. WE can't think today two boxes of donuts but Monday I start a diet. I ALSO THINK IF YOU ATE giant candy bar just that one day, or those three donuts that one day, it is also not the end of the world. Our minds can kind of cheat us in our thinking sometimes, so it is okay and be human for one reason or another. THE SPIRIT AND THE BODY HAVE THERE OWN RULES BE STRICT BUT NOT HARSH ON OURSELVES! Just do our best and keep going is on my fridge, also by somebody's else quote: don't look how far you have to go but how far you have come. I use to think that only MEANT IN WEIGHT, but now understand that can also mean in knowledge! THINK SENSIBLE, REASONABLE, and IT IS OKAY TO FALL NOW AND THEN, JUST DON'T FORGET TO GET UP RIGHT AWAY! Life is a journey of falling and of learning!
