Mine is the same way, I really feel for you! He used to bring me something home too whenever he wanted a sweet. I of course thought it was adorable and thoughtful and would graciously accept lol! He's much better now, only wants his treat about two times a week rather than nightly. So I keep dried apricots in the fridge. I make homemade sorbets and popscicles out of blended fruits. Dark chocolate, a handful of blueberries, some pineapple or watermelon really hits the spot. Cauliflower and guacamole, sugar snap peas and hummus, carrots and homemade dressings (etc) for a crunch. I've realized I crave the companionship of eating alongside someone more than I'm craving sweats or fried foods (my weakness) you can still join him and make better choices that cater to you. Big plus, he might prefer the healthy alternatives and change his habits as a result! You're so intuitive to have patience with your husband, respecting him as a complex individual with his own journey. You're a beautiful person, best wishes darling 💐
