Oh Happy Day!!! Lost the water weight from flying and the vacation...and...LOST 2 more lbs this week, to boot!!! YEAH, ME :)
I have been closely watching my water intake to keep in going in steadily throughout the day - and doing some resistance bands work here at home for toning. (that's pretty much the only difference.) Guess my body likes to go in spurts! More than 2/3rds to home, oh what a long road...but I can see it...the light at the end of the tunnel, and it breaks open into the daylight of a new way of life for me! I am so happy to have found this site, and all of the love and support from my friends in Boot Camp! Much appreciated!

Still can't figure out how to go back and log in my original weight in Jan 2009. I try to edit but it will only go back to Oct 2009 and allow me to enter anything - anything further back and it just won't take.

1/1/09 - 200.5 5/1/10 - 159.0 41.5 down 19 to go!!!
159.0 lb Lost so far: 46.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Paula, way to go! I had to laugh though, loosing water weight from flying? Don't get that one, are we lighter up there, lol? Ohhhh resistance bands you know I just remembered I think I have some of those in the bottom of my drawer. I'm going to find them, that would be a nice change to add to my exercise videos I do ;-) I also was wondering how to change the original weight so it will show up on my ticker. I see where you can change the starting weight but not sure it will go back to Jan when I started my weight loss plan. I'd like to record that even though I was on CSD and not LC until March, if you find out let me know and if I figure it out I'll let you know. hugs, Joyce

Joyce - to the right side of your screen you should see a colored box with My Journal, Diet Calendar, My Groups, etc...listed. The top one, for me, says Weight History. Click on that. Staying on the right column, scroll down a little ways. You should see Enter Historical Weights (or something like that)...that is where I was trying to go back - but it won't let me go past Nov 1 (6 months). Good Luck. As for the flying - and the water weight - I tend to retain water when I fly (most people do) - and I knew I had been faithful on my vacation, so I was a little bummed when I got home and found I had gained 2 lbs after vacation. I actually weighed myself again the next day, and the 2 lbs were gone...that's how I knew it was water weight! I held off weighing again til this morning - and voila - another 2 lbs. That's all fat!!! Yeah!!! And I too started on my own version of a diet back in Jan 2009 - until mid Jan 2010 when I started Atkins. Then - out of total addiction and ignorance - I fell hard off the plan while away traveling. Totally ate whatever I wanted - and figured I would pick up where I left off when I got back. NOT! I regained everything I had lost during the first three weeks of induction. So, by the end of FEB - I was starting all over again - and that's eventually how I ended up at this site and in Boot Camp by March. I didn't have the foggiest idea of what I was doing! (never did Atkins before) But I was physically feeling so much better, that I knew I wanted to stick with this to see if I could learn enough to decide if this is a lifestyle I could live with! The weight loss has been very slow for me since the very beginning, but I really did the biggest damage to myself when I switched to Atkins, by starting induction - screwing up MAJOR - and then regaining it all back. (if I only knew then, what I know NOW) But then that's why I am here!!! Won't ever make that mistake again. For Sure!!!
