Does anyone know if Tylenol for colds had ephedrine in the past?
15 Mar 18 by member: Charlotte_15
not ephedrine but possibly pseudoephedrine. they only used to have ephedrine in the asthma inhalers.

Thanks Bethkabran! Next time I can't breathe I will have to try to buy medication with pseudoephedrine just to see if it can work!

Be sure to read the label on it...if memory serves, it will aggravate high blood pressure.

Great loss!

Lool thanks everyone. Btw pseudoephedrine does not have the same thermogenic properties as full blown ephedrin, so it's not viable for weight loss. Bronkaid contains this ephedrin and is fully OTC but behind the pharmacy counter, limited to 7 boxes a month of the 60 count federally, might be fewer depending on your state.

Charlotte generally if it is behind the counter it has ephedrine or psuedoephedrine and yes tylenol cold does.

I don't live in the US and we have different laws. I know that the ingredients in cold Tylenol changed for us some time ago and it is now useless. I keep trying to find the ingredients that they used to have because it was amazing! I could breathe well for 8 hours! I have allergies and when I have a cold it's crazy! Thank you so much for the reply! After reading this post and researching what ephedrine was it seemed like it could have been in our Tylenols years ago and it could have been pseudoephedrine. I will keep these 2 names and try to find them next time I can't breathe! I know this has nothing to do with diet but I have been so desperate to find what worked for me. I already suffer from allergies so life is already a little tough!
