Hour 76 into my fast, seeing results quickly even though I have already cut through all my water weight since I started my fast out of an already ketogenic diet. Feeling great. Am taking a One A Day's Men with some Salt Stick electrolyte supplements, drinking alot of fluids as well.

I listened to a study on fasting that shared remarkable results. The participants had chronic health conditions. They fasted an average of 21 days. For many, they were healed. Some could reduce medications. All felt so much better mentally and physically. They were now able to do things that they couldn't do before. But these people with illnesses were monitored carefully by a doctor. I don't have these issues nor a doctor and have no problem doing a fast. The benefits of fasting are numerous. Remember to apply self control at the end if you're doing it for weight loss else you will gain weight back. End with diluted liquids and later in the day add soft bland food to awaken your digestive system. Ear your diet after that. You're doing great. Go as far as you can. Even a one day fast has great benefits.

Thank you @fartblossom. I have no diagnosed medical issues fortunately but I have had the reality and challenge of maintenance in the back of my mind since I started my dieting. It's very easy to simply not eat to lose weight but I see many struggling to maintain their weight once they've achieved it. I will be sure to put in the effort and research to maintain my healthy target weight once I'm there.

Sounds like you're doing great and feeling great, That's awesome! Fasting definitely has lots of health benefits as well as a great maintenance tool to use once you hit your target weight. Once I hit mine I plan to incorporate IF and periodic 24 hour fasts for maintenance and for the health benefits.
