The diet works. I have been tracking calories for months now, although I just recently started using this website. However, the most important segment of the diet is 'daily recording' of all caloric, food and drink, intake. This allows you to monitor intake over a period of time and make adjustments. If you are not trending down over time, you know, it is time for a change.

No one is perfect, or we wouldn't be on this website. I do have to admit to over eating and drinking at times, still. It is enough that I am ashamed to record it in my food journal, but I do. One must be able to accept misteps and forgive oneself. This is the key to accepting yourself. It makes no sense to cheat yourself. Happy Holidays!
215.0 lb Lost so far: 25.0 lb.    Still to go: 20.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
