Another 1/2 lb loss. I haven't weighed, measured or recorded food since leaving on vacation and am continuing to lose. I am eating carefully, watching portions, eating a lot of fresh out of my organic garden veggies and aiming at near 1 gallon of water per day.

I had gluten free pizza with friends and family yesterday after church. I normally wouldn't choose pizza, but enjoyed it and stopped when I had eaten an appropriate portion.

Both sides of my family have Diabetes issues. I decided to deal with my insulin resistance before it got too late. Now with my insulin levels coming under control, my eating is easily under control. I bought Dr. Jason Fung's new book "The Obesity Code" and will start reading it this week to learn more.
196.0 lb Lost so far: 16.0 lb.    Still to go: 31.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

LadyinDenim - lol! Heck, the v acation was the easiest part - avoiding the temptation of boredom when home... NOW THAT'S the hard part :-) As long as I continue to lose, I will not record my foods. The goal is to know internally when I'm eating correctly not eat right up to the "line" and a little beyond (which is my pattern).

Not logging your food and losing weight is even more impressive. Are you still fasting?

Denim, Yes, I am still fasting. I had a 48 hour last week, I'll fast once or twice this week. I was going to today and got side-tracked. I'm doing 16/8 every day and adding in a fast here and there. I logged today to double-check myself. If I can log I probably will, if not I won't worry about it.

Nice. Am a little jelly. I can't fast comfortably right now because if I don't take my supplements with food, I feel nauseated for a couple hours. After I see my physician on the 12th I will know better where I'm at and can get back in with the extended fasts again. Right now, the best I can do is Beast Mode.

Denim, do what you can and don't let it discourage you (so that you binge). That tends to be what happens if I let discouragement get to me. Which OF COURSE makes me more discouraged and out of control I go!!!
