Finally I'm moving in the right direction again. I have to say that getting a fitbit has been a great help as it motivates me to move all day long. I don't always get to work out but I went from walking maybe 4 thousand steps a day to getting up and walking around the office just to make sure I get as close to 10k as possible. My joints are already thanking me for it! There were some days that I would sit for so long my knees would hurt like crazy when I finally did need to get up off the office chair. Lately I just bounce right up and go :)
239.2 lb Lost so far: 5.6 lb.    Still to go: 79.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I hear you about the Fitbit. I was the same with knees and back "setting" when I sat at my desk for too long. Well done and good luck!
