This was a rather hard weigh in. Weight spiked to 149 last week after Wed's Surgery... but was only down to 148 this morning. The stupid thing at the top of the screen is screaming at me to weigh in... and with starting my new protocol, I decided to go ahead and use today's amount.

I don't like it... but it's factual. :) And it's temporary! That's the best part.

I will not let up, shut up, give up... until I win! And that's all there is about that that needs to be said :) !!!

Much Love.
148.0 lb Lost so far: 57.0 lb.    Still to go: 13.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Well, if STRESS is a factor... I have certainly had my fair share these past couple of weeks! Today was SO INCREDIBLE - as we spent time as a church family grieving together, crying together, laughing together... all of my dear friends family (from outside of the church, her natural family) were there... and they all, one by one, came up and said how unbelieveable the LOVE in that room was, and how it upheld them, strengthened them, and made them aware of how DEEPLY their loved one was to all of us. It was a beautiful morning. One of the saddest in my lifetime, but beautiful. And I am so grateful to have been there. Now - time to plan tonight, refocus, review my new plan... will be enacting all parts starting tomorrow. Thank you so much for all of your support! Much Love.

It is stress, Paula....pure stress that has your system in turmoil. Tomorrow when you start your new regime with the stress-buster aspect you will soon see the scale god smiling again. It sounds like this morning was an awesome closure for everyone. Still thinking about you and asking God for special blessings.

Your body is going to bloat right after being in hospital. Then it's going to lose the bloat. I recall my own experience, a year ago (but that involved spending nearly a month in hospital and coming out lighter than I went in, including minus 3 lbs of colon). I don't recommend long hospital stays, they're not restful at all.

FLedgist - LOL! I don't recommend them either! -3lbs of colon... oh, my! Doesn't sound like a healthy weight loss plan. I like your current plan much better!

I definitely do not recommend nearly dying of diverticulosis as part of a weight-loss plan!

Don't forget, Paula. I gained 14 pounds during surgery a month ago, which blew my mind sinc I expected that I would lose given all they were removing. It was all IV liquid and took about a week, but it came off.
