One month tomorrow since Gastric Sleeve surgery AND it CONTINUES to go AMAZINGLY WELL. Total Lost since surgery: 32.4
Visit to surgeon went well yesterday. He said “Up your calories in next month.” (to at least 1000 -1300 range). Now there’s a statement I’ve never heard in a DR. visit …LOL
Also, DR. said to work to increase exercise. (That’s advice I have heard for many years, and only sometimes heeded…this time is different ). I will see surgeon again in two months. He reminded me that as I lose weight I am highly likely to encounter more “issues” with a severe abdominal hernia which will make exercise more difficult.
The silver lining is the hernia can probably be surgically corrected when I lose to “below 300 lbs.” I am praying that my courage does not falter as I get increasingly closer to that goal. Thanks to all of you who are part of my journey to better health and a longer life - - whether by supports, mails, comments, or by being buddies…ALL of you are an important support group who SHARE in my success !!! Have a blessed day and rest of week. Thanks for listening and for being there !!!

Wow, a 32.4 pound loss in one month is amazing! I hope you do not get the abdominal hernia after your surgery. Take care of yourself.
