The issue here for so many is that toast “needs” butter, coffee has sugar and/creamer, strawberries get a lil chocolate sauce, sandwich has Mayo and cheese. Salad has a few croutons and just a lil dressing. Ice cream serving is most likely double 🤣🤣🤣 Boom 1800 cals Oops. Not for all but realistically many of us myself included “forget” about our lil add ons 🤦‍♀️

Lowkeylife🌞I agree! I aim for a happy medium: 'lite' butter, sugar-free creamer or skim milk, strawberries with non-fat greek yogurt, sandwich with no mayo (at Subway) or 'lite' mayo at home, croutons are weighed & counted on FS, dressing is 'lite', and the ice cream is whatever the portion says on the container. It's still probably over 1200 calories, but it's pretty sustainable (for me)🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi- I have lymphedema too! I’ve been on a rut with my clean eating diet so as of today, it’s time to get back to the plan!

can someone help me? I updated my new weight, which is 12 lbs less, to recalculate calories. I am trying to lose weight and when I clicked recalculate, it increased my calorie allowance by 200. I'm confused.

BrittMomOf3 I wouldn't use the calorie calculator on here many people have found out it is really off. Go online and use a few different calculators and take the average. Be very honest with yourself regarding your activity level

I used to eat around 1200 when I was younger. Then I went to around 1500. I pretty much like to stay in that area but my RDI is set higher for maintenance.
