Look. I made a decision. I’m getting surgery to get this fat suit off my body. I can’t and won’t lose this weight all over again, just to gain it back. I just spent $2700 for a nutritionist to help me learn meal planning and prepping, micronutrients for my body’s needs, lots of self help to get in the right frame of mind. I even lost about 15 pounds, gained it back, and while the education stuck, the will to do it all is gone. So I’m finished. I’ve made a consultation with a plastic surgeon for liposuction and tummy tuck, and if I gain weight back I’ll be alright with it, because I’ll finally stop HATING myself and my body.
200.2 lb Lost so far: 23.2 lb.    Still to go: 15.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.3 lb a week

I think it’s great you’re doing this if it will make you feel good. If I may just add, you should get in the mindset to keep it off. The last sentence threw me off a bit. You wouldn’t want to gain weight back after spending all that money. I look forward to hearing this all goes and supporting you on your journey 💖

I jus been walking a lot more. weight loss is slow. It seems to be happening. I need to eat better. I walk so I can eat what I want. NO matter what it is. and my weight stays consistent. in 2months. logged 110k steps. I'm amazed myself. Good luck with surgery.

A consultation is a great idea! I had it done in October and had a dr that was very blunt about things. It helped a lot. A few things to consider. A tummy tuck is intended to remove extra skin. The lipo is to help contour so it looks natural. You are not supposed to gain or lose weight after the surgery (within about 10 pounds). Also know they’re not kidding about a long recovery process. I have been able to sit up from a laying position for about 2 weeks now and it’s been 8 months (I had muscle repair too which most moms do) That’s not to dissuade you just to share the things I wish I knew. I am so happy with my results. Wore a bikini to the pool yesterday and wasn’t overly self conscious!
