Middle of the week - no progress - a little disappointing - gotta love these plateaus! This is about the time I give up and quit. Thankfull to FS for keeping me going and motivated -
Need to do something positive to hold me up today...

Ok - did my workout, plowed through some paperwork and then I went for a long walk with my headphones and blasted some really good music (haven't done that in ages!) Was so nice - beautiful out and the jasmine was blooming. Feel better - on with the rest of the day!

Take it Easy. Since the middle of March you are down 6 lbs. By comparison I weigh almost 60 lbs more than you do and I lost 4 lbs during the whole month of March. I have an article from Bicycling Magazine that I need to post, it talks about the speed at which you can realistically expect to lose weight. If you are trying to lose 50+ pounds they say aim for 2 lbs/week. If you want to lose 20-30 (think you) they recommend about a 1 lb/week. One per Week. Not every 2 days. So by that measure you are making excellent Progress. Of course you do not want to take a step back but don't feel like nothing has been accomplished. Just take your time...its a long journey. Keep the diet calendar arrow honestly Green and the slow downward movement will translate into loss. Let me know what positive step you decide on....its a great idea. Best Jim

Thanks - I know. Overall most of my recent weight loss was the typical first loss - water weight and last minute bad eating that sparked me back to FS! I expected the first few pounds to come off right away. Shouldn't complain because I know I'm working hard and getting there. Thanks for the reality check - and the supportive comments!

Don't give up!!! I'm doing the Weight Watchers thing and I understand it's easy to be disappointed. Just hold on and continue to give it your all. You can do it!

I can't say much more than has already been said: especially from Jim. Worth listening to that sound advice! I am happy to hear that you are not giving up: I agree that FS helps motivate and keep us on track. I look forward to "seeing" you here tomorrow. :)
