megan4's Journal, 30 March 2009

Happy Monday everyone! Took weekly measurements - lost 1 1/2 inches - I'm into my 4th straight week now - goal was to lose 2 pounds a week - I should be down 6 and I am down 5 1/2 so pretty close. Will need to work hard this week to see if I can take off 2 1/2... I did meet my mini-goal and worked out both days this weekend. Was not easy. Really need to get it done earlier.

Actually messed up this week and didnt eat enough points 2 days. Was so busy I was short points and it was just too late at night to eat - I was toooo exhausted. This is probably a major issue with me - normally when this happens I eat anything I can get my hands on that's easy (junk food) late at night. Last night I ate apples and a turkey sandwich which was much healthier but still didn't use up my points. I know that's just as bad as eating too many so I still need to do better. Believe me I love my points and am not happy I missed some of them!

Measurements today:

Bicep - 12 - 12 - 12
Bust - 41 - 40 - 39.5
Waist - 39 - 37 - 36
Hips - 42 - 40 - 40
Calf - 13.5 - 13- 13
Thigh - 22 - 22 - 22

Have to take my oldest back to clinic to get bloodwork - have to get it done today or will have to change tomorrows dr appt. :( Goal for today was to begin spring cleaning. Figured I would give 2 hours a day to the house - might need to cut back to 1 hour due to work and exercise. Today is CCD, swimming, baseball and soccer with the kids.

I think at the beginning of April I am going to follow your lead Megan and take my measurements. You are one of the first folks here that I have seen reporting these numbers. As many other buddies of mine can attest I am a numbers junkie and this will just add to the FUN!
