so this is the judgement weigh in before the foodie weekend. Am really quite concerned that i will go up a crazy amount. We have plans for a very fancy French restaurant Sat night sunday we are having lunch at the Ivy then probably just a stadium burger for the football all of which i am sure is soaked in butter and goose fats and all other delish things like that. The question is should i log all the foods as best i can or just starve for the day and go with whatever they put in front of me??????? Luckily the hotel has a gym so maybe i will just try to spend at least 30 mins in there in each day and we will be doing all the touristy things of course which will help with the calorie burn.
oh well whats the worse that could happen right. i'm going to spend a lovely long weekend with my man to celebrate his birthday. doing all the things that make him happy (he deserves to be spoilt a little at the moment) and if i come to terms with the fact that the numbers will go up next week its not the end of the world they WILL come back down i will just have to work a little smarter/harder and everything will be ok...right?????

I'm off this weekend to, to stay with a foodie friend who is a terrible, terrible influence. :-) I'm going to aim to make good choices (I've already picked out my meal at the restaurant I know we're going to, from their menu online) and try to eat lots of fruit and veg. I'll allow myself the usual sweets and treats that we always have, but try to do it in moderation. I'm taking my running kit so I can get one run in, and there'll be a bit of walking and standing. I know I'll gain. A victory for me would be coming back and getting straight back on plan on Wednesday, instead of carrying on as I had at the weekend. That will do me. Life is for enjoying - the numbers might go up this week, but they can and will go back down in the weeks after. Have fun!

I'm always more concerned that after a few days off plan, I won't get back on! :)

its that word moderation that i think i might have trouble with!!!! Have just checked the online menu and its a taster menu so i'm hoping that means "small" dishes that look more like art i also checked out the wine list whoops will need to find a few more calories for this too i think :0) Hopefully if and when the number goes up it will be motivation enough to get right back in the saddle and that the muncher inside doesn't take over
