KB - you have my support! What do you seem to be struggling with. The gain is obvious, but can you think about the reasons for it? Bingeing? Inactivity? Snacking? Sugar? Salt? Not enough water? If your calories consumed are more than what you burn, your weight will increase. Logging everything helps me tremendously. Meal prep of balanced meals is my way of life. Portion control has helped me achieve goals.

Find a WOE (way of eating) you can live with forever; log every bite that goes into your mouth, the good the bad and the ugly; read the posts by other members to get inspired. Now, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and step back on the path. You CAN do this! Good luck!

Thank you everyone! I appreciate the advice and support. It’s mostly from not working out lately and eating more carbs than usual. I do my best with clean eating, lean proteins and whole grains. Monday is a great day is start again!

the road to success is not a straight line. there will be ups and downs along the way. this is the main reason you don't check your 401k portfolio daily, and you do not check your weight weekly. eyes on the prize! you'll get there for sure! 💪😎👍

We are all different, and what our bodies need varies greatly. Although we are on the same journey, we follow many different paths. I follow CICO, there are no restrictions on what I eat as long as it fits within my RDI (recommended daily intake). I also weigh myself every day and post my weight. By doing so, I find the support I get for my successes lifts me up, and when I show a gain, the encouragement of my peers strengthens my resolve.

I do portion control and moderation. I do not have food restrictions, but I do try to keep a lower carb count (150 gm) on a routine basis and also try to make those carbs more of the complex carb type. Severe food group restrictions set many people up for failure because they cannot sustain it for the long haul.

5% body weight fluctuation is just water/glycogen

Oooh I’m right there with you this morning! So frustrating! I ate out of my calorie limit by a lot all weekend. Remember your weight fluctuates with how much water is in your body! Right now I think I’m basically floating 😂

By no means am I an expert on life in all its problems and Dilemmas, but I do know that this works for me and I don’t know if it’s gonna work for you, just get up and do something good for yourself or for someone else. You will find as soon as you get up to start doing something things will get a little bit better. Best of luck and support coming your way.

I do OMAD weekdays and dirty keto on the weekends. It is slow but.. I am teaching my new Hubby the WOE. He can't do the fasting but the keto will help his T1D. Our first goal is to get his A1C DOWN to less than 9. As for your support... my phrase this year is if you can't be on the wagon at least follow it. LOG EVERYTHING. If I know it is not on the good list I ask me am I thirsty? am I bored? and do I really want to walk around with this on my a#$. Sometimes the answer is no... sometimes the answer is" BITE ME!!!!!... I NEED THIS". When you have the "bite me" days journal how you're feeling and what is going on. will help you find your triggers. Keep plugging Biscuit you can do this. { AND JUST INCASE SOMEONE GETS EXCITED ABOUT MY VERBIAGE IN THAT LAST SENTANCE...Biscuit is not calling ANYONE fat.... it is a term of endearment basically its English for cookie}

remember it's a journey so try to stay motivated. Remember why you began, I think never give up, allow yourself mistakes and all keeping in mind that you have worthwhile goals. try try try again

This is challenging, but you can do it! Have a plan, do your best and log your calories! Burn more than you consume and you’ll hit your goals!

Wow you all are awesome! Now I remember why I love this app...all the great support and tips for success. Yes, I was stress eating and now I’m forced to eat right, I have an ulcer. For now bland and mild, low fat and no acids. I appreciate all the feedback, thank you!
