I am amazed @ what the scales are showing me this week! My body is still trying to adjust from the jet lag on top of dealing with sinus congestion! I felt lightheaded yesterday b/c of the sinus pressure & stuff - not a good feeling! Apparently, my body is happy to be back in the states & back on this diet! Maybe I had more water weight from the trip than I thought! I can see 170! WOOHOO! Makes me want to celebrate with some cupcakes! I know ... I am trying to contain myself, but I have been craving some yellow cake mix cupcakes with icing soooooooooo bad! I think I am going to have to give in soon! ;) I am trying to think of something else that I can buy myself instead, but I haven't come up with a good reward yet! I'll have to keep thinking about that.

I did try on some American Eagle size 14 pants this morning that fit perfectly! HAPPY DANCE! HAPPY DANCE! HAPPY DANCE! Many of you know that the "hip" clothing of today is not made like the clothing of yesteryear! (It's hard to admit that I am still living in the clothes of yesteryear! I'm not that old, am I?) So, when a size 12 pair of pants from "yesteryear" fits me, a size 14 pair of pants from the "hip" era fits me! Frustrating, but I have to look at it from the positive side! Then I tried on a size 13 pair of "hip" Levis ... YEP, they fit my "hippy" self! The very low rise made me look like I needed to be on some street corner though! Hubby didn't know what to think of that! ;) All I know is ... they fit! Even though I may never wear them in public ... they fit! That's what matters! And that's what makes me smile today! =D

Hubby & I are going to Urban Active together now. He has been going there faithfully for months now to work out @ lunchtime. I joined this past weekend, so now we can work out together. I am meeting him there @ lunchtime today, then we will eat lunch together afterwards. I am excited about this! I look forward to us working out together & encouraging each other more!

Ooooooh cupcakes! I would go to the store and try and just buy one (at our bakery you can buy them individually) instead of making a whole batch, then you only have one to eat and you really shouldn't deprive yourself, you've done just awesome!
