Have you been abstaining from alcohol? I didn't realize how it has been a crutch for me. As a stressed out homeschooling mom, an extrovert turned introvert... it has been keeping me sane after long days. But I know the effects are fake and the side effects are negative to my journey... but darn it a beverage sounded so good last night!

Sometimes I like a splash of unfiltered apple cider vinegar in a glass of sparkling water. It's no booze, but sort of hits the spot with spicy meals or in the heat when a tall cold one used to be the go-to. Lately, I've been getting evening comfort from hot liquid fat bombs, or tea. Alcohol messed with my blood sugar too much and I found it easier to quit entirely. It's been a while, but occasionally I still miss that fake effect, which was only working sporadically anyway. Mocktails never really did it for me. Maybe kombucha is middle ground? (I haven't tried it, but hear it's very low alcohol.)

@T8U9 I brew my own Kombucha but has sorta slacked since being keto, trying to figure out meals and prep has consumed my spare time I used to invest in brewing. But yes it is extremely low in alcohol less than 1% but I haven't found concrete info about the carbs in it, I think it is higher than clear liquor... from my searches 😩
