DO N OK's Journal, 04 August 2017

Well, we are off to NY city for FOOD, shows, and to relax, for a week. Will I eat NY pizza?? ,YES, Will I be eating at nice Restaurants?? , Yes, will I be eating at junky restaurants maybe, Will I be staying Keto??? , chances are NO, Will I feel quility ??? for maybe 2 seconds,Will I gain some weight ??? Probably yes, I will try to eat 16:8, but I know I will be overwhelmed with so many choices, as I have picked several restaurants out to go to, Tavern on the Green reopened, Russian Tea room,China town, Lil Italy,Rainbow room, plan on using my fitbit and walking a lot, will not be logging foods for a week or even coming on FS site, well maybe once,we will see, I will let everyone know the body damage when I return..Take care FS warriors, and my journey goes on !!!

Welcome to my city! There's lots and lots of good food in NY any time of the day, check out Flushing, Queens, it's like all cultures melt into one! Just be careful, you can easily get carried away! :)

NYC pizza is the BEST I've ever had!!! LOL ENJOY!!! It's been a while since I've had some.

Have a great time! I was just there in June. Went to the Tavern for brunch and it was pretty good. But the PIZZA was amaaaazing!

Have fun and eat in moderation. I agree with Chesgreen - you can eat and enjoy food without gorging. Just eat it slowly and savor every bite!

Enjoy just think through your menu selections. Doesn't mean you have to deprive yourself, just maybe try something you wouldn't have in the past. That way you're not missing the flavor profile of you're old favorite dishess, while still getting to enjoy your favorite restaurants.

I spent my 40th in NYC for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I LOST weight. I think it was all of the interval walking. We stayed on the top floor of a classic brownstone building. I can't remember how many dozen of stairs... Also, food was generally a treat! Something to savor slowly, relax, & enjoy. Have you noticed that everyday-type eating is generally a chore? It's something to "get done". It's a race. It's a habit. It's unfulfilling as it's rarely great or even that good. (Or maybe I'm a bad cook. Highly possible.)
