I tried smoked oysters on my salad today. They were a little overwhelming.

I've never had them in a salad but love them just on their own!

A little too many especially for your first walk on the wild side. But, they are salty protein aren't they. Ah,if U say so?

Smoked oysters are yummy on Triscuits, I never thought of adding them to salad though.

I think I'll be sticking to fresh oysters from now on. It was the smoke flavor that did me in.
