Thanks ladies! Now it's time to relax :) I'm watching Frosty The Snowman and having a glass of Silk eggnog. Yum!

Now I want to get some Egg Nog tonight, after a chilly night in the Jacuzzi.

No Silk Eggnog available here. ;(( Guess I could make my own? Hmmm.

That might be even better than ready-made :)

Yeah, I am leary at times of the ready made stuff because I don't always know what is in it. Don't like guzzling chemicals. A lot of this stuff they peddle as "healthy", but.......*sighs*.......it really isn't. There's a Xmas drink here they like a lot. It's called Advocaat, BUT it is nothing but loads of alcohol and egg yolks. No can do for me as I don't do alcohol.

I don't do egg yolks :(

The only really questionable ingredient I see is Carrageenan. I had no idea that it had Turmeric. ..

Carrageenan is seaweed I believe=stabilizer It's in toothpaste too. I can do egg yolks, BUT not a lot. The alcohol in excess=aging. I don't care for it and don't drink it. Empty calories and provides zero nutrients. Maybe the younger folks can do it, but as you age the alcohol needs to be avoided or consumed rarely. I read the labels pretty closely before buying. When in doubt I don't buy.

From what I read, it looked to be a stabilizer, so the eggnog will probably stay on my list. We rarely drink alcohol.

Yes, it's extracted from seaweed and used as a stabilizer. The jury is out on whether it's a good or bad thing.
