Joined on Monday and wanted to say "Hi!" to the community in here! I just moved from Chicago to LA and am definitely noticing the difference when it comes to attention spent on looks....lol.
I have always been very sensitive to sharing my weight and the struggles I have keeping it off, but I decided I should own up to it and seek inspiration and support from others.
It's funny how one day you look in the mirror and ask yourself, "Why and how did I let this happen?" I had this happen to me on Sunday when I looked at a picture of myself, got very upset, and when I stepped on the scale for the first time in months...realized I weighed 214 lbs. This is the most I have ever weighed and it seemed that it just slowly crept up on me.
Portions have never been my forte and cheese is my biggest weakness! If I had crutches, they would be made of cheese. I've had success in the past and am trying to stick to a 1400 calorie diet to lose 10lbs before I visit my family in Chicago in 6 weeks. This is based off of success I have had from doing Fit Girl's Guide challenges and weight watchers in the past.
Anyways, I wish success and happiness to you all. We are all beautiful!
