Trying to stay on track and positive. Inspired by some who have lost 50+ pounds and dream of they day I am there. Want to lose 90 lbs and about 1/9th of the way there. 80 lbs to go seems so far away, but I keep trying to tell myself 1 lb at a time! Tracking what I eat every day and recording everything I eat, down to just one nut, I find helps me stay on task. Hate working out each day, but making myself do it. Was diagnosed with Diabetes and that gave me the push I needed. I quit smoking, social drinking and eating all the foods I love. Not an easy task all at once, but I need to stay strong and am hoping using this site will be just what I need to fulfill a dream. I have never been skinny, now at the age of 56, I want to accomplish that goal. Go figure :)

It's good to make small goals (like 5 pounds) at a time. I like to find non food items to reward myself. A new workout outfit, cd, getting nails done, etc.
