Not sure what's going on. I haven't started training yet... it just keeps going up ever since I came off my water fast. Now I weigh more than before I started my water fast.

My personal trainer asked me to only weigh once a week. It will be hard to do and I'm not sure I want to give up my morning weigh-in.

She is also concerned with my ultra low kcal. She wants me to increase my intake to 700-900 kcal/day because my muscles are going to need more fuel then my fat storage.
150.0 lb Lost so far: 16.0 lb.    Still to go: 2.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I've never heard of a diet asking you to eat less than 1,000 cal per day. I've been doing for close to three months and have lost approx 1 lb per week. They other part is I don't excercise. So if you are...then your body sounds like it's storing the food. You must drink 5 bottles of water per day. 16.9 ounces each. Check in on the scale in a week. I can almost guarantee you will lose.

No big. Keep experimenting, you'll figure it out. Trainer = Resource; not guru. #letsGO #turningpro

Your trainer is your aunt and a fitness competitor, right? Why did your higher power give you exactly what you need in this life at exactly the right moment? She is a living example of what you want for yourself and she has a simmilar genetic makeup. She's your blood. Trust her.

Everyone decides for themselves about when they want to weigh in, but for myself, I can't weigh in daily. If I do, the occasional uptick depresses me. Generally over the course of a week, I'll average out to a loss, which helps me keep on track.

I agree with everyone. take her advice. The gains are to be expected because your body was used to having so little kcals. So yes you will put on some weight but that's ok. Once your body adjusts it WILL come right back off. Although the scale weight may not change much if you put on muscle while losing fat. When you get into training and eating accordingly you will put on weight in muscle but that's good. more muscle looks/feels better. You will lose fat. I lost 15lbs of fat and put on 7lbs of muscle in my first year. Now that my body is more accustomed to this lifestyle Im "bulking". I will eat a surplus of kcals to gain muscle and a little bit of fat. After at least 3 months im going to "cut" or eat a slight deficit to lose some of the fat while maintaining my muscle gains before "bulking" again. Trust your trainer and try to stay calm. I have put on some weight with my bulk and I know how scary it can be to think "oh no its all coming back". But you ave to overcome that thinking and trust in the long term results that this process always yields @Kppgreen Im very excited for your journey to more muscle!

When you do a water fast, you lose mostly water from your body. So when you replenish, it comes back on. It's better to do a juice fast where you get some nutrition. You also lose muscle (and maybe a little fat). Muscle loss leads to slower metabolism. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn at rest, the more weight you can lose (hence why men loser faster than women). You need to find a balance.
