My son and I decided to challenge ourselves yesterday and went on a LOOONNG walk. Here in Dallas, we have a nice lake (White Rock Lake) with a walk/bike trail all the way around. So we set out and pushed hard. 9.5 MILES later we were done in less than 2.5 hours. That's a pace of 15'26" per mile. When we did our first long walk, it was about 10K (6.67 Miles) at a pace of 17'45" per mile. Those who jog/run probably won't be impressed, but I sure am at our progress.
