Today was a disappointment. Went to my doctor for my post opt appointment. I am limited to 20lbs for another 2 weeks. Then only 35lbs for at least 2 weeks after that. No running. I can do jog/ walk intervals but not too long, with no incline. I can not do squats, jumping jacks or anything that "aggressively moves my insides."
My internal stitching is not fully healed and there was a ton of scaring on my bowels, uterus, fallopian tubs, cervix, bladder and stomach. Apparently I had a horrible infection at some point in my life and never knew about it. The scaring lead to a lot of the pain I was having. Thankfully, the hysterectomy should have fixed most of it. My doctor said she rearranged things inside to make it more comfortable for me. I am glad to have her as my doctor but I am seriously ready for some real workouts!
I know my weight will not continue to go down. It will most likely go up! I just want to get toned again and loose some inches. I have already lost an inch around my waist and 1/2 inch around my hips. Seeing these results makes me want to work harder than before. I know I have to heal and healing takes time. But I am not one that sits on my ass 24/7 so this is driving me nuts!
