Mistybenner's Journal, 29 April 2016

Well my 1st born got her DL today. Eeeek. She already drove a block to the gas station, I was praying the whole time God heard my prayers she came home safe LOL! Oh boy I have to be strong. She will be driving to work today, only 6 blocks away but still! Thankfully she has been driving to work for a couple of months now and I don't have to go with her and clinched the passenger door the whole time, and use my imaginary break. I think I will handle her driving solo better than her driving while I am in the passenger seat.anyway good thing I already ate lunch bc when she came home and said, "Bye, I will BRB", I could have ate until she came back!I worry too much. I have been blessed, she is almost 17 and hasn't called me for bail money or killed anyone in a drunk driving situation. Bless my children. Why I think those things may happen is bc they DO happen! Anyway- Almost time to check in for the flight. woot woot, and the sun is shining so bright thru my windows right now :-)

At least she's driving. My oldest is pushing 17 and cannot be bothered to get his learners. Kids do not care like we used to.

Jimmi, its because Our generations DOES everything for them. And why do they need to learn to drive when everything they love comes from a monitor or screen usually less than 2 feet in front of them. Of course they don't care about learning to drive. lol. Man, I learned to drive when I was 13 so I could drive my mom and dads drunk asses home from the bar. And up till I was in my 20's you couldn't KEEP me in the house. Unless it was dinner time. lol

Ha. She's pushing 17 too but screwed up the dates for her drivers Ed. She had her permit for almost a year before she realized it. Oh well. Now she's off to work. Ack they called her in early I hope she's not hurrying. Ack there I go again...

My kids always appreciated not having me in the car using the imaginary brake and clinging to the passenger door! I'm sure she'll be fine!
