I have noticed during my last two runs that some trees and bushes are bearing buds and wondered if it was normal? :/

We've been having a relatively mild winter so far in Britain and it may be possible plants are getting confused by warmer temperatures than usual?

We've been having a pretty mild winter here in Missouri also. Some plants have started to behave like spring. But today is cold and icy! Going to nip their little buds right off. Ice is so scary! And DS and family are heading back home today. Hate that they will be driving in this. *sigh*

It's been unseasonably warm in New Jersey too. I can't help but wonder if it's related to global warming.
