COLD

Im so cold all day long, all i want to do is sit in front of a fire... Last year i shrugged and said: the least i get from the workout is that i will be warm afterwards...

But this year im starting to lose grip of the point of a workout. I gained weigth, i can feel it, i can see it. Its in the way and i want it off, but i want to be warm first. Not being able to eat right makes me even colder, not having the guts to work out makes me colder, and when i do work out, im warm for only a few moments before i become even colder then ever.

Am i getting old? Is this what my future will hold for me, freezing untill finally spring kicks in again?

You shouldn't be cold!!! That is wrong! You say it yourself! It is demoralising and distructive and counterproductive. I admit I have the heater on under my desk at work for most of the day....til I go for a brisk half hour walk in my break. When I am at home, I am never really cold for long, as I move all the time. My advice: Eat a bit more for fuel, add a couple of layers of clothing and move. And yes...we are all getting old...or older ;)

Hot drinks are good too, or have a hot water bottle or heat park or a pet on your lap, and put an extra layer on. Don't be cold, it makes you lethargic.
