Yesterday was strength day -- and frankly, I tend to push myself a bit. I set a # of reps per exercise -- the first time I did the workout (last Saturday), I had 10lbs, 8lbs, and 5lb dumbbells depending on strength and the move. Since housesitting, I only brought the 8lb weights. HAH. The first 2 set of reps, I stuck to my guns on the number I had preset. By the start of the 3rd set, my arms were starting to shake...so I cut the preset numbers in half to avoid an injury. I finished all 5 sets, knowing there was gonna be soreness the following day.

Snackiness. The past two nights have been bad. I talked with God about alot of stuff last night, one of which was the snacking. I will not succumb to the temptation of snacking after supper. It never leads to positive feelings...only feelings of ugh!

For supper last night, I prepared lamb. This morning, I learned why I didn't eat lamb often. It's much too rich. It was good last night, but this morning the tummy made a grumbling noise I took as a complaint. Dishes are now done, and I no longer smell last night's supper. Thankfully!!!!

For the last several months, I have not felt at home in my home church. Spiritually starved....I do not make any connection with the minister -- nor do I attempt to. What I thought was everyone else, was really me. Only I can change me with the help of Jesus. Another conversation with God, found me a much happier open person at church today. Still not connecting with the minister, but more open to my experience with others.

Time for dessert!!! :)
