3 more days until surgery! Nervous excited nervous excited! Tuesday all liquid diet, weds at 8 am I go into OR home hopefully by Thursday night!
Pray for me to have safe surgery, little pain, and easy recovery :).

Thinking of you today, Newstartagiin. Feel like tomorrow is first day of your new life? Just be sure to do all they say, force those fluids, and give yourself a break by NOT going home too early. I'll check in with you later...

Thank you both for your thoughts. All liquid today has been easier than I thought. Washed the car, had my nails done to relax me, now home packing up stuff for my hospital stay.
I have support group tonight where I will drink last pre surgical protein shake. After 8 pm clear only until midnight.
Feeling calm for the moment. Hope this continues through tomorrow morning.

You are in my thoughts today. I know you will do well! Best advise- get up and move afterwards. I remember, after the anestisia wearing off I was walking the halls of the hospital at 11pm-lol! Oh, and take the pain meds :) I took them for 2 days-it made it easier to get out of bed and move around. I don't get on this site much, but I will check back to see your progress. If you have any questions, please reach out to me. This will be one of the best decisions you have made- it was for me!!
