Well Today is my day #2 here on FS, and so far I am overwhelmed by the amount of support from complete strangers! :) it sure makes this journey a little easier knowing I am not the only one who has lost, gained and trying to loose again, and have no clue how to go about getting there.

My first decision was - I have decided I am only going to weigh myself on Monday's so I am not over stressing about what the scale says.

After allowing myself to eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted.. I found supper last night a little difficult. I was satisfied with my portion, but kept thinking I needed to eat more, when I KNEW I didn't. It is going to be a learning process for me for sure!

My second decision - Water, Water, Water, Water...

Congrats on getting through the first day, just getting started is the first hurdle and you've done it. One step at a time, one day at a time. Weighing once a week can be a good thing if the short term fluctuations on the scale are discouraging. Long term progress is what's important. And....water water water is KEY to doing this. Keep up the good work. :)

the first day is the hardest.. just take it one day at a time. I only weight on mondays too it helps me to not obsess over it so much. And yes water is your friend and this site is amazing ! I find that logging everything helps me alot too

Your decisions are sound--weighing once a week and drinking a lot of water. (I personally try to weigh in on Tuesday or Wednesday, so I give myself a chance to recover from any slips I might have on the weekends.) I know it took a while for my mind to catch up--I would feel full, but I would think about eating more. Keep up the good work!
