Didn't weigh today. Will do it tomorrow after fasting day. Lots of work to do today, but I ordered a rock climbing harness yesterday. Have a coworker who has the gear and has taken the training so I finally have someone to follow the interest with. Will be starting with the indoor rock wall as soon as the harness arrives. We'll likely do that a couple of nights a week for a month or so before heading out into the sticks where we will work raw rock faces. Yeehaw!!!

I've always wanted to try a rock wall. Not so much a real rock wall. To much gravity around those.

DH used to do a lot of top rope climbing back in the day. He had me belaying him on one of our first dates. I thought he was crazy! Of course, a few weeks into our relationship, he had me in a harness climbing too. I didn't get into it for very long because I'm terrified of heights. But he and his buddy did it for years. Have fun!

I would love to rock climb. No where around here to practice. Plenty of " raw rock faces" to injure my old bones on. Guess I will stick to hiking. My son 21 yr. old son climbs. So when we go hiking together he wonders off for awhile.

What a great hobby. It is a terrific way to keep your upper body strength. I have a nephew in Colorado who climbs and when I give him a hug, he feels like a rock.
